We can teach you how to use WordPress CMS explaining how to add, edit and delete content on your website or blog– £30 ph.
  • More complex requirements – if you would like original and bespoke artwork, password protected areas on your site, membership forums, advanced SEO, on-line marketing, etc., please contact us and we can discuss your needs.

What may add further to the cost of your website

  • Graphic design work – The graphic design is usually the single most time consuming part of developing a website, with a lot of drafts, discussions, alterations and final acceptance. If your site requires lots of original and bespoke art and design work, whilst this will make you and your website appear even more out-of the ordinary, it will of course attract a premium in terms of price and is additional work.
  • Unusable images – Some people are surprised to find that they can’t just take images from a Google search and use them on their own website (not realising they are most likely in breach of copyright), or that their low resolution phone camera pictures from a holiday 3 years ago are not high enough quality for a professional website! We live in a highly visual world, and high quality images are a must for a website – poor quality images will scream ‘unprofessional’ from your pages long before a visitor will stop to read any of the words. If you can’t supply good quality images yourself, that’s easily solved – stock images can be supplied and edited at very reasonable prices, or custom photography can be arranged which will cost more.
  • Changing your mind – If all or part of your website is developed as agreed, and you subsequently change your mind about what you need, the work that has been done will still have to be paid for. Similarly, if you want extra functionality, there will be additional costs. This makes it very important that you carefully specify your requirements from the outset. If you need help with this, additional consultancy can be arranged.
